Ellis Architects developed the interior concept for this wine and coffee shop in the 700 block of K Street – which was part of a larger historic redevelopment project. The design was inspired by photos of coffee bars from the 1920’s – such as the custom backbar casework with antique mirrors, pewter bar top, exposed existing brick walls, period wallpaper, tin acoustic ceiling, and natural wood plank floors with hex tile inlay under the bar seating.
